Marathon Geek was established in 2007 by Julian Dean “JD”, to put fun back into endurance training by making it less scientific. JD started off with Triathlon Geek and created a popular plan that allowed the average working athlete to train for a triathlon and balance out work-life commitments. A year later, he launched Marathon Geek to meet the demands of many endurance sports athletes. In many occasions, athletes breakthrough their physical threshold without even knowing it with this training plan. Marathon Geek Training Plans are updated on a yearly basis. JD serves athletes in both the Northern Hemisphere countries, Australia and New Zealand. Athletes from over 66 cities over the world have used his training plans.
